BANNED? The Dukes of Hazzard DVD COMPLETE COLLECTION REVIEW
Ripping down statues, banning tv shows, and burning books will never erase history or change it. The Dukes of Hazzard was and still is a great, entertaining, funny, family classic tv show, and if the confederate flag scares you painted on top of a car, then I guess you never really learned history. The Confederate flag was the battle flag of the south. The Duke’s were just good old boys, and the flag represented southern heritage. When we give into removing things that offend people, it will never end. I say we get back to embracing things that offend us and enjoy life again without restrictions. How does a song WAP ‘Wet A$$ Pu$$y’ shoot to number one on the Billboard charts in August 2020? I find the song disgusting, but I don’t call for the song to banned from existence. Do I think the music industry has a problem with deciding what is good music- absolutely! I think today’s pop music is garbage, but to each their own. I mainly listen to melodic metal, 80’s, film scores, synthwave, and whatever is not considered popular music. As a musician I don’t respect lip synced manufactured pop music that focuses on dance steps and gyrations rather than real singing. This is a side note, but the bottom line is, everyone needs to relax, take a deep breath, and get red pilled into reality. Wake up to the fact that everything can be twisted and canceled by this culture if we let it. Everyone will be offended by something at sometime, and the time bending over for these crybabies needs to stop! Even though my voice will not matter to the manufacturers and distributors, I suggest you go buy anything the internet trolls will demand to be taken off the shelves. Voting with your dollars may will keep it alive for some time. One someone’s speech is banned, and books are burned- they will never quit looking for the next thing. This movement eats its own eventually and everyone will be subject to cancellation. Never give into demands and stand your ground- let the trolls drown in their own misery. Archive what you can now off the internet and pick up what you can in physical media.

I’m certainly grateful for growing up when I did. The Duke of Hazzard embraces fun during a simpler time, and I have fond memories of watching this show as kid. Go experience a time capsule of great entertainment!
